Cast Resin Car Ends to Modify Central Valley's NP Stock Car:  Many years ago, Central Valley introduced an excellent HO-scale model kit of a Northern Pacific Stock Car from the 82750-83249 series. The CV kit's only flaw was that the model is one scale foot too wide, but there is a solution! In The Mainstreeter, Volume 25-1, Ed Ursem published an article on kit-bashing the Central Valley kit to narrow the model to its prototype width which required extensive rebuilding of the car ends. The NPRHA Modeling Committee produced those car ends as resin castings to make this modification project simpler and faster. They came in a package containing four pairs of car ends, allowing you to modify four Central Valley stock car kits.
